Oceanside RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 11-year-old girl.
Police say Florence Dawn McNab was reported missing from her home in Qualicum Beach on Wednesday afternoon.
Police have carried out an extensive search of the area but have not been able to locate her.
Investigators now say they’re acting on unconfirmed information she may have been at the Departure Bay ferry terminal in Nanaimo and have not been ruled out that she has travelled to the Lower Mainland.
Florence is described as:
● Caucasian
● 5’3”
● 130 lbs
● Purple/blue shoulder length hair
● Blue eyes
● Wears glasses
● Typically carries a black/grey backpack
Florence’s family are concerned and want her to contact police right away.
