What do you get when you take over a hundred RCMP officers in full attire and put them on a bridge together? A fantastic photo!

Staff Sergeant Paul Duffy of the North Vancouver RCMP imagined a unique celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday. With the help of Capilano Suspension Bridge and dozens of off-duty mounties, his idea became a reality.

The photo, originally posted on the BC RCMP’s website, went viral on Facebook, accumulating over eleven thousand likes and six thousand shares.

Victoria’s celebration of Canada 150 will take place from June 21 – July 1. Check out the performance lineup and read more about the event here.
