If you’re looking into eating healthy and adopting the island lifestyle this summer, we’ve got the perfect place for you to go!
This Friday, Lifestyle Markets is hosting a free tasting of their locally sourced grass-fed beef (from Victorian Acres farm) and pastured pork (from Berryman farms).
The event will also feature vegan burgers from Sol Cuisine on their own separate grill.
The 22-year-old home-grown market on Douglas St focuses on providing organic, healthy and delicious alternatives to processed foods.
Victorian Acres farm and Berryman farms provide meats that are raised in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner. The same holds true for the organic produce at Lifestyle Markets, as much more locally-grown organic foods are now available.
Apart from the barbecued meats and vegan patties served outside in the sun, the tasting will also feature samples from Lifestyle Markets’ extensive selection of prepared foods in their counter service deli section – and you can even ask to try out some of their fresh juices from the juice bar!
We spoke to Carmine, the general manager at Lifestyle Markets, and he’s looking forward to showcasing these products.
“We’re excited for you to try the delicious vegan patties, Victorian Acres grass-finished beef, Berryman Farms pastured pork, and our amazing prepared foods and fresh pressed juices,” says Carmine. “We are dedicated to wellness in our community – and have been for 22 years.”
