There were no serious injuries after a privately owned single-engine plane crash landed at Victoria International Airport early Friday afternoon.
All three people on board the small plane walked away from the accident.
Airport officials said the landing gear collapsed on landing on the airport’s main runway.
The crash happened at around 12:30 p.m and the Transportation Safety Board gave permission to two the aircraft at 2:30 p.m. before investigators arrived.
Airport firefighters, North Saanich Fire, B.C. Ambulance and Sidney/North Saanich RCMP responded to the crash.
Operations continued on the airport’s two other runways.
