Share

The month of May brings great news for art lovers in Victoria!

The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria  is about to open its gates for Admission by Donation starting on May 2nd.

Next month is your last opportunity to see two highly popular exhibitions: Emily Carr and the Young Generation which closes on May 14th, and Life with Clay: Pottery & Sculpture by Jan and Helga Grove whose last date is May 28th.

But don’t despair – May 3rd will also mark the launch of a brand new art show and sale by Adelle Andrew. Don’t miss the reception of Adelle Andrew – Life as an Artist on May 11th, 6.00-9.00PM!

And that’s not all! Sunday, May 21st, the AGGV will be hosting a family friendly, hands-on art-making afternoon from 2.00-4.00PM, which will be inspired by the Close to Home: Local and Regional Artists in the AGGV Collection show.

Plus, if you’re a local artist who wants to learn how to ship your art pieces to exhibitions in one piece, this is your chance to do so for free!
