We have just received reports that a man has exposed himself to a child at Macaulay Elementary School in Esquimalt.
The incident occurred at the end of the school day at around 3:30 p.m.
The suspect is a described as a white male in his 30s, wearing a blue and grey hoodie and blue jeans.
Officers are commending the child’s actions of seeking safety first and telling a trusted adult without delay.
“The child was not physically injured and went home, where the child immediately told a parent what had occurred,” stated Bowen Osoko, the head of community engagement for Victoria Police.
As of now, the investigation is still ongoing.
UPDATE: The suspect was last seen near the intersection of Macaulay and Wollaston streets.
Police are in the area searching the area for a suspect.
