Spring break is just around the corner, and you might be like the thousands of Vancouver Island parents who need something fun to do, and so we scouted out our top 5 reasons to bring your family to BC’s newest shopping destination, Tsawwassen Mills.
Kids love a good road trip, and even better, you can leave your car at the ferry terminal for a walk-on ferry trip, thanks to the complimentary Tsawwassen Mills shopping shuttle that will be waiting for you on the other side when you get off the ferry.
When you reach the mall, your fun-filled day is covered with nearly 200 retailers including incredible outlets, brands we rarely see on the island, interactive activities, restaurants and a promise of an off-the-island adventure for the whole family.
Here’s why we think it’s the best place to be this spring break!
1 – Meet & greet Paw Patrol’s Chase and Marshall!
Marshall & Chase are coming to #TsawwassenMills and can’t wait to meet all of you! Don’t miss when Paw Patrol comes to Tsawwassen Mills. There will be two FREE meet and greet sessions in the Promo Court at Entry 3 daily: Tuesday, March 21 + Wednesday, March 22 – 11:00AM – 2:00PM and 4:00PM – 7:00PM There will be face painting, balloon artists, and kids can make their own badges to be a part of the Paw Patrol team. Swag bags will be handed out to the first 100 families in line at each event. Plus, Simone Grewal from @z953fm Vancouver will be on-site at the March 21st morning session to say hello as well. Click on our bio link for more details.
How exciting would it be to meet your hero? So many little ones love the cuddly characters of Paw Patrol, making this event, packed with fun like face painting and balloon artists, a spring season highlight for families. The first 100 families will receive a swag bag!
With nearly 200 stores, dining and entertainment options, Tsawwassen Mill is a unique mix of premium fashion brands, outlet stores and first-to-market retailers featuring 5 distinct neighborhoods that reflect all aspects of BC through art and architecture: Coast Salish, Outdoor life, Fashion, City, and Nature. Islander favourites include Bass Pro Shop, Saks OFF 5th, Pro Hockey Life, Lululemon Outlet, Victoria Secret, Nike Factory Store and Michael Kors Outlet, to name just a few.
3 – Activities for the whole family
Attractions like bowling at Uncle Bucks, an indoor skate park at West49, nail and hair salons and a children’s play area provide the opportunity for everyone to kick back between shopping and dining in one of the mall’s 36 spots for food and beverages, including 4 sit down restaurants: Boston Pizza, Milestones, Montana’s and Uncle Buck’s Fish Bowl & Grill.
4 – Special savings for out of town visitors!
Beyond great outlet prices, tourists save even more with the Tsawwassen Mills’ “Love Everything About Savings Booklet.” Filled with additional savings from many retailers, the booklet is available to all out-of-town visitors.
