British Columbia is a great place to live and a fantastic place to work, so says the members of the annual list of British Columbia’s Top 100 Employers, 2017 installment.

Whether you’re a weekend warrior, cycling enthusiast or an occasional yogi, BC’s leading employers go out of their way to make sure employees’ health and lifestyle choices are supported in the workplace, according to the editors of Canada’s Top 100.

Employers are evaluated in these eight categories: Physical Workplace, Work Atmosphere & Social, Health, Financial & Family Benefits, Vacation & Time Off, Employee Communications, Performance Management, Training & Skills Development and Community Involvement.

Highlighting a vast array of businesses ranging from Victoria’s own, Abe Books Inc, Island Health and BC Ferries, among others, to larger Canada-wide corporations with home offices in BC, this list boasts employers who value a healthy, happy workplace in order to progress their business.

I’d like to nominate Victoria Buzz for next year’s list!
