Win two spots on Wilson’s Transportation annual Victoria Royals fan road trip (CONTEST)

Share

Picture this: it’s Friday morning, the air is crisp, and you’re one of those smart cookies who bought yourselves tickets to the Wilson’s Transportation Fan Bus Road Trip.

Smiles are contagious. The hockey chat is through the roof, and since it appears the Canucks are going nowhere this year, our Victoria Royals are providing us with the only intense, meaningful hockey down the final stretch of the season.

You hop in that big comfy Wilson’s Transportation bus, find the best seat you’ve ever plopped your arse in, and you jump on a boat that rather conveniently transports you to a place called “Vancouver”.

During the ferry ride, all you can hear is “oh my goodness I can’t wait to go check out the outlet mall at Tsawwassen”, and you smirk to yourself because you were planning ahead.

You’re well aware of the 1.2 million square feet of retail space, 1100 food court seats, which you know means you can eat at four different places in four different seats and no one will judge you. You’ve done your research: there are over 200 retailers in Tsawwassen Mills which means that anything you’ve ever conceived, you can probably purchase.

Your hand slides down under the seats to a bag beside your suitcase, with little stitching that reads “Segway.” You pat it gently and continue to fantasize about how awesome 1.2 million square feet of retail space will be with your Segway.

This season’s Wilson’s Transportation road trip is a two-day excursion to watch the Royals play the Giants at the Langley Events Centre.

Eventually your moment of glory passes, everything is wrapped up at the mall, and the group of rambunctious fans pile in and head to Langley to watch our Victoria Royals dismantle the Vancouver Giants.

Your beer is sipped with ease, and your nachos are doin’ the trick knowing that your accommodation, transportation, and return to Victoria has all been thought about by someone else.

The fan bus is scheduled to leave the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre early on Friday, February 24th and travel to Langley via BC Ferries for the 7:30 p.m. game. The bus will stop on Friday for a lunchtime visit to the new Tsawwassen Mills Mall before travelling to Langley.

Fresh off a great night’s sleep and the taste of a Royals victory, Wilson’s luxury coach and the fabulous BC Ferries’ boat ride bring you back to Victoria on the 11 am sailing, with plenty of time to make it to the Royals’ annual “Pink in the Rink” game that same evening.

Folks, this pleasant experience is just $199 (Segway not included), but here is the thing, a dozen lucky Royals fans have already won a chance to ride the fan bus and now you can through Victoria Buzz and Wilson’s Transportation.
