The Victoria Royals made the Vancouver Giants the victims of two fan event nights over the past two days, and are looking to make it four wins in a row tonight at the Save on Foods Memorial Center.

Friday night in Langley a bunch of Royals fans packed into Wilson’s bus and ferried over to support the team, and they were given a treat to the tune of a 6-4 victory.

An astounding five Royals players had 3 points or more as the team’s stars ensured their travelling support squad received an excellent team performance.

Last night at a sold-out Pink In the Rink event, Victoria got on the board early and never looked back as they cruised to a 3-1 victory once again.

Griffen Outhouse tied the franchise record for wins in a season with 32 which was previously held by Coleman Volrath and improves his record to 5-4-1 in his previous 10.

Victoria’s Matthew Phillips assisted on all 3 goals, 2 of which were scored by Jared Dmytriw, and now has 4 goals and 6 assists over a 5 game point streak. Dmytriw was named the game’s first star.

Vladimir Bobylev also scored for the Royals and contributed some outstanding open ice hits to get the fans on their feet.

The sold-out crowd enjoyed a physical and chippy affair that should only escalate tonight as these two finish off the season series.

Victoria also hosts two more games this coming Friday and Saturday against the Spokane Chiefs, who currently sit 9th in the Western Conference.Puck drop is at 7:05pm tonight! Grab your seats now:
