Canada Music Week

  • What: Piano Duo Anna Cal and Roger Bursa with guest soprano Kathryn Whitney performs a program including works by Rachmaninoff and Gershwin.

The Victoria Jazz Orchestra

  • What: Ellington/Strayhorn Nutcracker Suite. Comprised of the Victoria’s most prominent and accomplished jazz artists. This fundraiser will support the Single Parent Resource Centre.
  • When: doors open at 6:00pm, performance begins at 8:00pm
  • Where: Hermann’s Jazz Club, 753 View Street
  • Admission: $20, students pay what you can

Mini Self-Care Retreat

  • What: Learn to take time for yourself during a 90 minute self-care workshop. Buffet dinner to follow the workshop. Spaces limited.
  • When: 5:15pm to 8:15pm
  • Where: The Union Club of British Columbia, 805 Gordon Street
  • Admission: $77

Canada’s National Gingerbread Showcase 2016

  • What: All things sweet from “Around the World”, more than just houses these creative gingerbread houses are detailed sculpture and unique works on art. Vote for your favourite display by making a donation to the Habitat for Humanity.
  • When: daily until January 2 from 9:00am to 9:00pm
  • Where: Inn at Laurel Point

25th Annual Festival of Trees

  • What: Beautifully decorated trees by sponsors, local businesses, organizations and individuals. View all 65 trees on display and vote for your favourite. All funds raised to support the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
  • When: daily until January 5, 2017
  • Where: The Bay Centre and Fairmont Empress
