UPDATE: Police have located the missing elderly Saanich man

UPDATE: Saanich Police have located Kresse at a business in Victoria around noon today!

Kresse was healthy and safe, and he has been reunited with his family members.

— oriSaanich police are searching for a 85-year-old man who has been missing since Thursday and suffers from short term memory loss.

Edward Kress, who moved from Saskatchewan to Saanich this past summer, was last seen around 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of McKenzie Ave and Shelbourne St. Police are concerned because Kress is not familiar with the area.

Police also said Kress left his residence without his glasses and hearing aides.

 

 

He is described as:

  • a white male
  • 85 years old
  • 5’8″ in height
  • 155 Lbs
  •  light brown hair.

Kresse was last seen wearing a tan coloured baseball cap with “Puerto Vallarta” written on it,  a black jacket with “Fireside Bistro” written  in yellow and orange lettering on the front left chest, blue jeans and navy coloured runners.
