Get spooked for a good cause – Heritage Haunted House is back!

Share

A spooky period home in Saanich is back this Halloween. Each room and garden has a themed area, with trick-or-treaters young and old invited to get “spooked out” in support of Help Fill A Dream.

Location: 3808 Heritage Lane
Date: October 31
Time: 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Those brave enough to enter will wind their way through the zombie zone and circus tent; past the graveyard; into the witches den and doll room; and finally into a maze of fog and frightful creatures. There are many surprises along the journey!

“The haunt is recommended for children seven and up. We advise one parent to go through first and judge whether or not their child / spouse is brave enough to handle it,” owner Carly Burbank notes. “In keeping with the Halloween tradition, we will give out candy and hopefully, trick-or-treaters will return the favour by donating to Help Fill A Dream.”

From Craig Smith, Executive Director of Help Fill A Dream, “We rely on the generosity of individuals, local businesses and our community partners to be able to deliver our programming. When we see the incredible amount of time and effort Carly and this amazing group of people are putting into this event, we are very proud that they have chosen to work with us.”

Help Fill A Dream provides hope, help and happiness for Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands children with life-threatening conditions. The foundation fulfills dreams, improves quality of life and assists families with care and financial support. Since 1986, Help Fill A Dream has fulfilled over 2,100 Dreams.
