Plans were revealed today for the View Royal Casino which will see it more than double in size.
The improvements featured in the proposed development plans will add 42,000 square feet to the current facility, transforming the gaming experience and making the View Royal Casino a full-service entertainment destination.
Features will include new and modern dining options such as a buffet, casual lounge and bar, and a multi-purpose 600-seat entertainment venue.
The gaming floor will also be expanded with 12 new live dealer table games and an additional 350 slot machines and electronic table games.
The casino has been operating since 2001. It generated $71.8 million in revenue in 2015-16, with $4.1 million going to West Shore municipalities.
The project is expected to begin in 2017 and be completed in the first half of 2018.
