Victoria Royals

  • What: SEASON OPENER TONIGHT!! vs. Prince George Cougars. First time in franchise history two banners will be raised during the pregame ceremony. Puck drops at 7:05pm. Head back for more game action on Saturday, puck drops at 7:05pm.
  • Where: Save On Foods Memorial Centre

Victoria Wine Festival

  • What: Vancouver Island’s first exclusive international wine tasting festival, showcasing wines from around the world.
  • Where: Parkside Victoria Resort & Spa, 810 Humboldt Street
    • Friday September 23 – Evening tasting from 7:00-9:30pm
    • Saturday September 24 – Afternoon tasting from 3:00-5:30pm and evening tasting from 7:00-9:30pm.

Vancouver Island Baby Fair

  • What: An event focusing on pregnancy, birth, babies, children and your family. Door prizes, baby races, baby photo contest, kids entertainment and featuring Bobs & Lolo.
  • Where: Pearkes Recreation Centre
    • Saturday September 24 from 10:00am-5:00pm
    • Sunday September 25 from 10:00am-4:00pm

Hydroforce Excavating Championship Night and Fireworks!!

  • What: Featuring Lordco demo series, NEXX Financial claimer cars, Marlin Motors Hornet cars, Richlock Rentals drifters, total destruction derby, car jump/rollrovers, boat races and end the night with fireworks. Saturday September 24, grandstands open at 4:30pm.
  • Where: Western Speedway

TICKETS: $22.50/adults, $20.00/senior and youth, $14.00/military and kids (age 7-12 years), $65.00/family pass (2 adults, 4 kids).

Victoria Hospice Shred-a-Thon

  • What: Clear out your paper clutter, with a small donation have papers can be shredded in support of Victoria Hospice. Suggested donation $10/box. On site Saturday September 24 from 9:00am-12:00pm.
  • Where: Hillside Centre, North Dairy at Shelbourne Street parking lot.

Light Up the Hills

  • What: A celebration of art, music and performance. Held after the dark on Saturday September 24 from 7:30-10:00pm the illuminated laterns will create a glow through the community. The designated walk will end at the main performing arts stage.
  • Where: Westhills, Langford

Fall Fairfield: Harvest Fete

  • What: Annual outdoor celebration on Saturday September 24 from 2:00-6:00pm. Live music performances, interactive booths, art making, sample local food and treats. Beverages available from Spinnakers at the inaugural Cider Garden. Take part in the fruit pie competition and fundraiser.
  • Where: Porter Park, 1330 Fairfield Road

Etsy: Made in Canada

  • What: The market will be featuring over 100 Easy sellers from 10:00am-4:00pm. Handmade and vitange wares, home decor, clothing, accessories and more.
  • Where: Market Square, 560 Johnson Street
    • Saturday September 24 and Sunday September 25 from 10:00am-4:00pm.
