FRIDAY September 30

The Victoria Vintage Fair

  • What: With over 70 vendors and exhibitors featuring vintage items from clothing, jewellery, accessories, housewares, records, decor and more. Fashion show, live music, guest speakers and entertainment.
  • When: Friday September 30 from 4:00-10:00pm and Saturday October 1 from 10:00am-6:00pm
  • Where: Crystal Gardens, 713 Douglas Street
  • Tickets: $8/single day, $9/weekend pass, kids 13 and under FREE

Victoria Royals

  • What: Victoria Royals take on the Kamloops Blazers two games this weekend
  • When: Friday and Saturday night | Puck drops at 7:05pm for both games
  • Where: Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre

SATURDAY October 1

TP the Town

  • What: Many families are often financially forced to choose between food or toilet, this is when the Prodigy Group initiated TP the Town. This gives the community of Greater Victoria to donate toilet paper for families in need.

Summit at the Pier

  • What: An event to empower youth to become collaborative, creative thinkers and problem solvers for everyday life. Registrations begins at 8:00am, followed by guest speakers, group sharing and fun activities.
  • When: Saturday Saturday October 1 from 8:00am-9:00pm and Sunday October 2 from 11:00am-5:00pm
  • Where: Ogden Point
  • Tickets: $125, available online

Oktoberfest at Oaklands

  • What: This Saturday October 1 celebrate all the favourite traditions of Munich and Bavaria, Germany, including beer, music, food and a good time. Featuring Bucan Bucan and the Victoria Accordion Club.

Sooke Slam

  • What: BC boxing sanctioned event and fundraising for travel expenses. Weigh-ins at 4:00pm, fight starts at 7:00pm.

  • Tickets: $20, available at West Shack Automotive, $25/at the door

A Decade of Fabulous Do’s

  • What: The salon with be hosting a fashion show in celebration of Shampoo Hair Bar’s 10th Anniversary. Funds raised to benefit The Bridges for Women Society.
  • When: from 8:00pm-12:00am

FRESH TO DEATH: Victoria Harvest Celebration of Fresh Hop Beers

  • What: In celebration of BC craft beer month there will be a selection of BC’s best breweries that will be offering fresh hops beer to sample.  Food trucks available on site.
  • When: from 1:00-6:00pm
  • Where: Centennial Square

SUNDAY October 2

Buzz on Location: Vancouver Island Corn Maze

  • What: Come join Nicole and Mike from Victoraia Buzz at Vancouver Island’s largest corn maze – prizes to be won!! Come solve the mystery in this 14-acre corn maze and you will receive an entry! Arrive before 1pm and you will receive a 50/50 ticket to gain a free entry!!
  • When: Sunday from 1pm to 4:30
  • Cost: Usual entry fee. $10 per adult, $5 for kids 5-12, under 5 is free

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Fun for the Cure

  • What: Bringing breast cancer survivors, friends, family and the community together to show support and raise funds for research.
  • When: October 2, run begins at 9:00am
  • Where: University of Victoria, 3800 Finnerty Road

Westshore Motocross – Family Fun Day

  • What: Westshore Motocross is hosting Family Fun Day at WestshoreMX. Everyone is welcome. Practice from 10 to 1 and Fun events 1 – 2:30 – Team races , One glove start, pit bikes , one lap wonders, New ladies.Admission is by donation.

Langford Fire Rescue Open House
