The Tragically Hip tour kicks off in Victoria at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre this Friday.

In late May, the band revealed that singer Gord Downie has terminal brain cancer, and would go on one last tour.  The tour in support of the band’s 14th studio album Man Machine Poem kicks off in Victoria on July 22 and wraps up in the band’s hometown of Kingston, Ont., on Aug. 20.

Select your Tickets sent out an email Monday announcing a new time for the show. The show start time has been changed from 7 pm to an 8:30 pm start with no opening act; however, attendees are encouraged to arrive at 6:30 pm to avoid large lineups.

The ‘Man Machine Poem’ album was released on June 17th. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Sunnybrook Foundation.
