Missing View Royal man found deceased, foul play not suspected

Sad news to report: Robert, the subject of a missing person report, was found deceased today. RCMP said the cause of death is not considered suspicious at this time.

The BC Coroners Service is involved in the investigation.

West Shore RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing View Royal resident.  Robert Kidd was last seen May 16th, 2016.

Police say they are very concerned for Kidd’s health and well-being. His family reports that it is out of character for him to be out of contact for this long.

Kidd has brown hair and blue eyes. He is a caucasian male, standing 6 ft 5 in, weighing about 201 lbs.

He is believed to have left in a black 2013 Dodge Ram with Canopy and Big Dog Boat Tops written on the back and sides. The vehicle is bearing B.C. licence plate: ER4130.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Robert Kidd is urged to contact their local police, or Crimestoppers at (TIPS).
