The 5th annual Hike for Hospice at Fisherman’s Wharf Park is this Sunday. There is still time to gather a team of friends and family, challenge your co-workers, or join as an individual to help support end-of-life care in your community.

Check-in and entertainment starts at 9am and the walk begins at 10am. The route is a scenic 3.5km loop from the inner harbour to ocean and back again and is accessible for all ages and abilities.

Participants are also invited to honour the memory of a loved one at this meaningful community event. Children 16 and under are free.

Participants are encouraged to dress up and bring along your four-legged friend for your chance to win the “Best Dressed Dog” Award.

There will be a variety of entertainment, including live music by local favourite celtic band, Cookeilidh, great door prizes as well as rewards for top fundraisers.

Participants can register on the day of the event. To speed the process up, print off a registration form. Pledge forms to collect cheque and cash donations can be found here.
