Victoria Police are hoping the public can assist them in locating hockey equipment stolen from a car parked in the 900 block of Douglas Street on January 15.

The owner of the vehicle was in town for the annual Pacific Cup Hockey Tournament and had his hockey equipment stolen from his vehicle. The hockey equipment is valued at $2000.

The lone man, who stole the hockey bag, was wearing all black. He left the area on a bike pulling the hockey equipment on a bike trailer.

If you have any information, call VicPD on the non-emergency line at 250-995-7654 or report it anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
